Hello Modern world ,

Today I will be introducing a modern technology to this modern world. We are all know that in this modern world communication technology is rapidly increasing and computers are one which plays crucial role in communication technology. If we talk about computers ,these are advancing

rapidly. In this process, the technology came which is known as “5 Pen PC Technology”. 

5 Pen PC Technology

5 Pen PC Technology developed by a Japanese Company NEC(Nippon Electric Company, Limited) in 2003. It is designed by “Tour Ichihashi”.

This 5 pen PC technology also called as P-ISM (“Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget Package”). P-ISM is a gadget package including five pens , when we combine all together gives the  usage of a computer. 

These are the 5 pens :-

1.CPU pen

2.Communication pen

3.Virtual keyboard pen

4.Projector pen

5.Camera pen

CPU pen:-

The name itself tells all CPU’s work is done by CPU pen. All functions of CPU such as arithmetical, logical and I/O operations done by CPU pen. Because of this it also called as “Computing engine”. It has dual core processor.

Communication pen:-

It is for establishing communication between others device.It uses wireless connection for connecting devices.Whole set is connected to internet through cellular phone function.

Virtual keyboard pen:-

It projects a full-size keyboard onto any flat surface .As you type on the laser projection, it analyzes what you are typing by the coordinates of that location. This virtual keyboard can be customized to any size. 

Projector pen:- 

It is used to obtain a LED projector .It gives more clarity and good picture.

Camera pen:-

Its purpose is to capture image and videos.It can rotate complete 360 degree.It is highly portable.

5 pen PC has a battery which is small in size but work for a long time. For normal use it can be used for 2 weeks. 

If we talk about its advantages. It is highly portable. Backups of all your data can be stored in a watch fitted with a holographic storage unit. It adopts Bluetooth technology for data transfer. It has capable of storing terabytes of data . Its E-fingerprinting allows only the owner to activate the pen PC , Even if we loose it ,no one else can access the data. 

Lets see the disadvantages of 5 pen PC. It is very costly and projection surface must be flat.It has limitation on range due to use of wireless technology.It can be misplaced easily due to small is size.

It is in still development process. This is only an example for the start of this new technology.  We expect more these type of technologies in future which will be shaping the world in very effective and efficient ways.
